Episode 67 - Abortion, Part II: Selling Organs

More Planned Parenthood videos came out this week, and Ari led the charge against PP for its apparent misuse of fetal organs. But what started as another shouting match soon turned into one of the best and most civil and thoughtful debates over abortion, PP and a wide range of related issues that you will hear anywhere in America. The show really needs to add a woman panelist, but for four dudes, this was one hell of a talk. Great, thoughtful and occasionally funny moments throughout.

Plus, Tymon Shipp and David Robinson brought the funny from the Left, and 5-time Emmy-nominated legend Will Durst gave us another exclusive rant. We cover Iranian nuke negotiations, Netanyahu’s Israeli win, Suge Knight and his $25 million bail and Starbucks’ ill fated attempt to make us all discuss race over our mocha lattes.

Episode 48 - Racist Rapping / Iran Nuclear Deal

We have another walkout, as conservative panelist Larry Meyers hung up and quit before we even got through Dr. David Robinson’s “The Week We Were” news jokes. But Koz, Tymon and Dave still had fun expressing outrage over Oklahoma’s racist frat brothers and their bizarre house mother’s use of the “N word” while rapping along to a song, all sorts of other racist issues, and then to frightening new GOP Sen. Tom Cotton’s open letter to the Iranian government stating that Congress could interfere or shut down the country’s current nuclear negotiations, when in fact, they really aren’t allowed. A very funny episode filled with humorous outrage!

Another hot week in the news, with terror and racism rearing their ugly heads as usual, but with the guys managing to find the funny with Larry calling in, Howie, Ted, Dr. Dave and Koz in the studio.

Episode 41 - Monkey

Dr. David Robinson still phoned in from NYC and Larry Meyers had a car break down keep him from the studio, but things still got crazy as guest host Monica (you heard her two weeks before – oy!- under a different name) dared to call President Obama a “monkey” (her word, not ours) – prompting Koz to stop tape and throw her out of the studio. Then the rest of the gang – Howie Walfish, Ted Lyde, Koz and Dr. Dave – started the tape up again and discussed THAT, race relations, had a mega argument over abortion, and then had fun mocking out Sarah Palin and Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations. One hell of a weird one!

With Howie Walfish out sick and Dr. David Robinson phoning in from New York City, the show still covered plenty of outrageous topics, from why wasn’t President Obama at the French rally and why DID John Kerry bring James Taylor when HE went? to the whitewashing of the Oscars as no black actors were nominated for only the second time in 20 years, to – as always- broader and more contentiously funny issues involving race, all brought to a gentle close with a group singalong of James Taylor’s “You’ve Got a Friend."

With “Sal’s Mom” from the late great RT podcast “Sorry You Met My Mother” in the house, things got unpredictable fast! She called for sending back every single Muslim from Paris to the Middle East, and things went weirder from there. Wild, unpredictable stuff.
