Panelists Carl Kozlowski and Dr. David Robinson were in house, while Tymon Shipp phoned in from afar, as we broke down Obama's anti-gun speech, Korea's Hydrogen Bomb test and if it really happened, and the Cologne New Year's Eve attacks, plus the week's best news jokes and our weekly Burst of Durst rant from five-time Emmy nominated comic Will Durst. Have fun with this one!

Episode 82- Cosby Goes Down

The year kicks off strong with a three-way discussion featuring Koz, Dr. David Robinson and returning panelist Ted Lyde discussing the Bill Cosby indictment and whether there's a double standard going on vs. allegations against the likes of Hugh Hefner and Bill Clinton. And when's the last time the news did that?

Episode 78 - San Bernardino Shooting

This week San Bernardino was hit by unimaginable terror, and the Koz Effect gang rallied to rail against it from both sides of the political spectrum. The show led off with Dr. Dave's awesome news jokes, followed by a supersized 75 minute battle royale over how much Islam had to do with it (or not), and side issues like how many damn bullets does a person need anyway, considering the lunatics who committed the massacre had a total of more than 6000 rounds of ammo at the ready? This is a hot one.

Episode 68 - Send in the Clowns: The Republican Debate

Sound man Johnny O termed this “an amazingly civil debate about the Republican debate”, in which the gang discussed the clown carload of candidates running for President among the Republicans. Still plenty of laughs to be had!

Episode 67 - Abortion, Part II: Selling Organs

More Planned Parenthood videos came out this week, and Ari led the charge against PP for its apparent misuse of fetal organs. But what started as another shouting match soon turned into one of the best and most civil and thoughtful debates over abortion, PP and a wide range of related issues that you will hear anywhere in America. The show really needs to add a woman panelist, but for four dudes, this was one hell of a talk. Great, thoughtful and occasionally funny moments throughout.

Episode 66 - Abortion, Part I: Everybody Yells

After the controversial videos came out, a battle royale broke out over Planned Parenthood, abortion, and whether the videos were doctored. A wild and illuminating look at this controversy.

Episode 65 - Trump / Iran / Moral Government

The gang (sans Koz) first discussed Trump vs. diplomacy, which led to talk about the Iran nuclear deal and the mysterious death of Sandra Bland, before things exploded into a battle royale over the nature of good vs. evil and how the U.S. government can be as bad as those whom some conservatives deem “evil.”

Episode 64 - Trump vs. Mexico

This week’s show starts off with 5-time Emmy-nominated comedy legend Will Durst on the phone, helping us tee off on the World’s Most Ubiquitous Man: Donald Trump, and his shockingly meteoric rise to the top of presidential polls despite his seemingly racist comments about Mexicans and illegal immigrants. We get into that and lowering the Confederate flag in South Carolina, leading to an hour of compelling fireworks worthy of the 4th of July!

Episode 63

Classic Koz Effect

Episode 61 - Transpacific Partnership

With Koz and Conservative Attack Dog Ari David both gone, the show was a lefty lovefest, with Dr. David Robinson and Tymon Shipp joined by special guest panelist Johnny Owens, Radio Titans’ co-head poobah and sound wizard, as they discussed the Transpacific Partnership treaty’s failure and, as usual, a bevy of racial news especially the mysterious case of Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who passed herself off as black so successfully she became head of an NAACP chapter!. With Tymon Shipp, Dr. David Robinson, Ari David and Koz in studio and legendary five-time Emmy nominee Will Durst on the phone, this is one incredibly funny episode!

Episode 53 - Ted Lyde Strikes Back / Border Control

An amazingly funny episode, with the original Angry Black Man of “Koz Effect,” Ted Lyde, back in the house and restraining himself from killing the new resident conservative, Ari David. Dr. David Robinson had a joke in “The Week We Were” that made Koz turn purple with laughter, Dr. David also admitted for the first time ever that Reagan was right (well, once, according to him), Ari went down the “why Ted’s not a thug” checklist, and Ted actually agreed with Ari about the need to control our borders, but just differed on how. Plus we tackled the gyroscope pilot who landed on the White House lawn. Get ready to laugh!

Episode 49 - Iran & Israel / Starbucks Failed Attempt to Have Us Talk About Race

Another terrific episode, this time with no walkouts, as conservative panelist Brian Fuller phoned in and fellow conservative ARI DAVID made a fantastic splash in his debut. Plus, Tymon Shipp and David Robinson brought the funny from the Left, and 5-time Emmy-nominated legend Will Durst gave us another exclusive rant. We cover Iranian nuke negotiations, Netanyahu’s Israeli win, Suge Knight and his $25 million bail and Starbucks’ ill fated attempt to make us all discuss race over our mocha lattes.

Episode 48 - Racist Rapping / Iran Nuclear Deal

We have another walkout, as conservative panelist Larry Meyers hung up and quit before we even got through Dr. David Robinson’s “The Week We Were” news jokes. But Koz, Tymon and Dave still had fun expressing outrage over Oklahoma’s racist frat brothers and their bizarre house mother’s use of the “N word” while rapping along to a song, all sorts of other racist issues, and then to frightening new GOP Sen. Tom Cotton’s open letter to the Iranian government stating that Congress could interfere or shut down the country’s current nuclear negotiations, when in fact, they really aren’t allowed. A very funny episode filled with humorous outrage!

Episode 43 - Terrorism

One of our most explosive episodes ever, as Muslim terror leads to a wild shouting match between Howie and Ted in which a very bad word is used for the first – and last – times ever on the show. If you thought your Thanksgiving dinner arguments were bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

This episode is currently unavailable.

Episode 41 - Monkey

Dr. David Robinson still phoned in from NYC and Larry Meyers had a car break down keep him from the studio, but things still got crazy as guest host Monica (you heard her two weeks before – oy!- under a different name) dared to call President Obama a “monkey” (her word, not ours) – prompting Koz to stop tape and throw her out of the studio. Then the rest of the gang – Howie Walfish, Ted Lyde, Koz and Dr. Dave – started the tape up again and discussed THAT, race relations, had a mega argument over abortion, and then had fun mocking out Sarah Palin and Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations. One hell of a weird one!

This episode is currently unavailable.

Episode 40 - James Taylor / The Oscars

With Howie Walfish out sick and Dr. David Robinson phoning in from New York City, the show still covered plenty of outrageous topics, from why wasn’t President Obama at the French rally and why DID John Kerry bring James Taylor when HE went? to the whitewashing of the Oscars as no black actors were nominated for only the second time in 20 years, to – as always- broader and more contentiously funny issues involving race, all brought to a gentle close with a group singalong of James Taylor’s “You’ve Got a Friend."

We ring in the new year by bashing the old, with the team of Koz, Ted Lyde, Dr. David Robinson, Howie Walfish and Larry Meyers taking on the 5 biggest stories of the year, including Bill Cosby’s misadventures with women, the sad passing of Robin Williams and why comics often are depressed, and the whole battle royale over cops and their tendency to shoot unarmed black men way too often. It’s a hot one and funny too!

Episode 37 - The Interview by Sony

Koz is back, with Larry Meyers on the phone, and Howie Walfish back in the house as Ted Lyde and Dr. David Robinson rounded out a full house debating the Sony crisis and “The Interview,” Obama’s surprise restored ties with Cuba and Dr. Laura Schlesinger’s attack on pit bulls.
